From the news releases I've seen, everyone is basing this announcement on the HSN information that was released recently, and the "Marketplace" they refer to (and other apps) seem to imply a B&N-curated market, i.e. not the true Android Market. I hope this isn't the case, or if so, that there is a way to still access the Amazon App Market and apps B&N might rather NC owners didn't have easy access to. As an example, I have the Kindle app for Android on my NC, but it will be difficult for the B&N folks to let themselves allow that one through. Granted, I'm not using it as much anymore (!), but I still don't want to have to re-purchase those Kindle books I've already bought. :-) Still, the worst-case scenario is that we'll soon have access to the B&N Market and, via rooting the NC, everything else as well. I am interested to see what all is available in the firmware update that is suppose to happen sometime in April. There is suppose to be an appstore, email app and some included games (like angry birds). This should make the NC a nice little tablet without rooting. Que increible es encontrar una pagina en donde Americanos se comunique entre si en MI IDIOMA NATAL! Bravo a todos !!! Yo naci en Toluca, Mexico y a causa de la muerte de mi padre, mi madre nos trajo (verbo traer) a vivir a los Estados Unidos hace....mmmm... veintiocho anos!!!! Cuando yo vine a U.S.A yo solo hablaba cerca de 50 palabras que incluian: Los numeros del 1-20 y algunos verbos y colores. Fue muy dificil al principio, pero sin embargo puedo darles unas sugerencias si me lo permiten? 1) Miren la television en Espanol por lo menos 1 hora al dia 2) Escuchen la radio en Espanol mientras manejan, y aun sin entender todo, REPITAN lo que escuchen (es un buen ejercicio para la lengua--practiquen como pronunciar la RRRRRRRRRRRR... 3)Practiquen escribir tanto como hablar en Espanol. Evidenmentemente lo hacen muy bien aqui!! 4) Mi mejor arma fue hacer una lista de 10 palabras nuevas las cuales repasaba yo y memorizaba antes de dormir. 5) Su meta entonces seria usar esas 10 palabras nuevas en sus conversaciones en Espanol!
